Dmitriy Salita Ep. 1: The Balancing Act

At the age of nine, Dmitriy moved to Brooklyn from the Ukraine in order to escape discrimination against

him and his family. Upon arrival in New York, Salita was exposed to Orthodox Judaism and now follows strict adherence to Jewish law. Refusing to fight until after sundown on the Sabbath and following dietary restrictions are both examples of how Salita's strong faith guides his daily life and challenges the life Salita spends in the ring.
