I think the film is totally pointless. The ending is just so fake. This film does not even portrays what the real hell is, because that is it, hell. I live in Juarez and I have been really close to these cases, I think this film lacks respect to the situation.

The actors that are supposed to be Mexicans are not even close.

I think that Mariposa is a great insight to what realy goes on in mexico. I personaly live in El Paso Tx. which is right next to Cd. Juarez and the types of crimes that are shown on the film are things we have to see everyday on the local news aswell as the newspapers. This film is a great way to show people that El Paso although it's named one of the safest cities in the US, we still have our struggles with our sister city's crimes. Realize and recognize that life is precious and should not be taken for granted. LOVE & RESPECT
